Injured Terror Suspect in Karachi Rangers Camp Attack Makes Shocking Revelations
According to security sources, the injured suspect identified himself as Usman Ali and said he came from Jalalabad. He revealed that three other militants accompanied him, identified as Abdul Hadi, Janan, and Umar Farooq.
The suspect stated that the group entered Pakistan seven days before the attack. He claimed that Abdul Hadi, who was reportedly from Bajaur, was killed during the operation, while another militant, Janan, allegedly threw an explosive device at the Rangers camp.
During questioning, the suspect said the group had been sheltered in an under-construction building before carrying out the attack. He also claimed that weapons used in the assault were brought from the Waziristan region.
The injured suspect further alleged links with Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, claiming the group operates under commanders based in Afghanistan and that members received militant training there.
Following these revelations, investigators are examining possible cross-border links and broader networks behind the attack. Security agencies have intensified investigations to identify facilitators and prevent future attacks.
