Pakistan Orders Immediate Arrest of Illegal Afghan Nationals from July 10
According to official details, the ministry has issued an important directive to all provincial chief secretaries, the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, and relevant institutions regarding undocumented Afghan nationals living in Pakistan.
The notification orders strict action against Afghan citizens residing in Pakistan without a valid visa from July 10 onward. Provincial governments, district administrations, and law enforcement agencies have been instructed to ensure full compliance with these directives.
The order also states that Afghan nationals whose visas have expired but who continue to stay in Pakistan will also face legal action.
The Interior Ministry further instructed concerned authorities to ensure effective implementation of the illegal foreign nationals repatriation plan. Starting July 11, daily reports on enforcement actions must be submitted to the ministry.
These daily reports will include the number of Afghan nationals found without valid visas, details of actions taken, and their current status. The ministry has termed the matter highly important and directed immediate and complete implementation of the orders.
