Pakistan Stock Exchange Surges as KSE-100 Index Closes at Record High
At the end of trading on the third business day of the week, the KSE-100 Index surged by 3,748 points, closing at 184,050 points, reflecting strong bullish momentum across the market.
During the trading session, the benchmark index touched an intraday high of 184,233 points, while the lowest level recorded was 180,565 points.
Overall, shares of 563 companies were traded in the market. Among them, 297 companies recorded gains, 171 companies declined, while the remaining stocks remained unchanged.
Trading activity remained strong throughout the session, with approximately 930 million shares exchanged, carrying a total market value of around Rs56 billion.
Market analysts believe the strong rally reflects improved investor confidence, aggressive buying in key sectors, and positive sentiment regarding Pakistan’s economic outlook.
