Son of Woman Police Officer Misbehaves with Officers
According to reports, the incident occurred in DHA Phase 7 Extension during routine snap checking. Police officials stopped a vehicle for inspection, after which the driver—allegedly the son of a woman Superintendent of Police (SP)—became aggressive and misbehaved with officers on duty.
Eyewitness accounts suggest that the individual verbally abused police personnel and even grabbed a sub-inspector by the collar. Authorities also revealed that the vehicle was fitted with police lights and a number plate, both suspected to be fake. Two private security guards were reportedly present inside the car at the time of the incident.
Following the emergence of the viral video, the DIG South Karachi has taken immediate notice and directed the SSP South to conduct a thorough investigation. Officials have stated that strict legal action will be taken if the use of fake police lights or number plates is confirmed.
The incident has raised concerns about misuse of authority and the importance of accountability, even among individuals linked to law enforcement.
