Rocket Attacks Hit Residential Areas in Quetta
According to police and security sources, the first rocket landed on the roof of a house on Akhtar Muhammad Road in Shanti Nagar. The impact created a large hole in the roof and completely destroyed the installed solar system. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in this incident.
The second rocket struck a house belonging to a resident, Muhammad Usman, located on Faqir Muhammad Road in Usmania Gali. The explosion caused significant structural damage to the roof and walls of the building.
The third rocket hit the boundary wall of a double-story house on Mir Ahmed Khan Road. As a result, the wall collapsed, injuring three pedestrians who were passing nearby. The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where their condition is reported to be stable.
Security forces, including police and Frontier Corps (FC), swiftly reached the sites, cordoned off the affected areas, and launched a search operation to trace those responsible for the attacks.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the origin of the rockets, and investigations are ongoing.
