Rain Expected in Karachi? New Weather Advisory
According to the Early Warning Center, a new system of western winds is expected to enter the country through Balochistan starting tomorrow.
Under the influence of this system, Karachi is likely to experience thunderstorms and rain on Thursday, with the weather system expected to affect the city until April 4. Some areas may receive heavy rainfall.
The advisory also states that various districts of rural Sindh, including Karachi, could witness thunderstorms and even hailstorms during this period.
The Meteorological Department has warned that heavy rain, hailstorms, and strong winds may cause damage to weak structures. Wind speeds could reach up to 50 km/h or more, while rainfall in certain areas on April 3 may exceed 50 mm.
Officials confirmed that this weather system is likely to remain active across parts of the country until April 4.
