Karachi- Seminar on Children's Cancer Day.

seminar held on international childhood cancer in  civil hospital in pakistan’s karachi.

A seminar was held on international childhood cancer day in Pediatric ward of Civil Hospital on Saturday(February 15) by Professor Aisha Mehnaz in Pakistani biggest city karachi.

Seminar was attended by doctors of Civil Hospital and large number of students and parents of the children were also present in the seminar.

During an addressing the seminar speakers stressed on cancer awareness among children.

Dr.Shakila who has come from America also attended the seminar and said that the cancer in children is curable, if diagnosed early.

Professor Dr.Aisha said that the percentage of Childhood cancer in the country is increasing.

She said in many hospitals of Karachi childhood cancer is treated either free or on very low cost.

She said parents, of children who have admitted in the pediatric wards of Civil hospital, are guided about vaccination which could protect children from different diseases
